You can configure the system to have different cancellation policies per period (i.e. 14 days cancellation period for Low and Mid Season and 21 days cancellation period for High Season).
Go to section Rates/Policies
- Create your main cancellation policy
- Click on Add Season Detail
- Select the period and add the new cancellation policy for that period.
- Do the same for all other periods that you want to have different cancellation policy from the main.
The above process can be done for all Policies ( Rate information/Payment Information/Cancellation Information)
Notice: The system will apply the cancellation policy based on the Check In ( Arrival ) of the client.
Example:
- If the default cancellation policy for the whole year is 7 days ahead of arrival free cancellation period and you create for period 01/08 to 31/08 a Non refundable cancellation policy then:
- If the check-in & check-out is within the timeframe of 01/08 - 31/08 the client will receive the Non refundable cancellation policy.
- If the checking if the client is 27/07 and check out 02/08 the cancellation policy her will receive is the 7 days ahead of arrival (default)
- If the checkin in 30/08 and check out 03/09 then he will receive the Non refundable cancellation policy.
