Meal Packages Configuration
From the top menu, go to Rates -> Meal Plans
You can see all Meal Packages available at the under the window Meal Plans.
Create a new Meal Package
Click on Add New button to create a new Meal Package
A new window Meal Plan is opened
Field | Description |
Abbreviation | Name of the Meal Plan(for internal use) |
Description | Title Name of the Meal Plan (will be displayed in the front-end in the search results at the 2nd step of booking process) |
Rate | Price of the Package |
Season | NOT APPLICABLE |
Charge | Select which pax categories will be charged from the Drop-down list If the 1st kid category (kid0 - infants) is not charged for the Meal Package then you should select the option where kid0 is excluded (i.e. “adults, kid1, kid2, kid3, addbed, babycot”) |
Advance Rating | If you want to have a different price for adults and kids (applied only to 2nd kid category), please enable this option In that case two more fields Rate and Charge are enabled and you should use them to add the price of the Package for the kids
Example: You want to create a Half Board with EUR 40.00 price for adults and EUR 25.00 for kids of 2nd category Then the fields should be filled in as follows: Rate: 40.00 Charge: Adults
Rate: 25.00 Charge: Kids |
Enabled: | Click on the checkbox if you want to activate the Package. |
Click on Add to add/update the Meal Package
After the Meal Plan creation you have the oportunity to apply also a preferred picture.Ideal dimension should be 500px X 350px or any height and width that can be resized to the ideal without the picture to get stretched.
Note:
After creating a Meal Package, you have to add it to the products (combined Rate Type, Room Type) in order for the Meal Package to be bookable in the front-end.
To do it, you have to go to Rates-> Rate Catalogue, open the Rate Plan, open the Room Type and add it to the Bookable Packages field of the Room Type
