BookOnlineNow  allows you the flexibility of applying various restrictions on your Rate Plans, with the aim of managing availability and revenue. Restrictions may be applied from the AVAILABILITY & RATES tab

Here are the Restrictions you have access to:

STOP SELL (CL Close OR NS Not Show)

Stop sell applied to a rate plan will stop the sale of that rate plan on the booking engine for that date. Stop sells are effectively used when you want to stop sales on lower rate deals, or close sales on rooms that are under maintenance for short periods.

Difference of CL close VS Not Show

If you select CL close in front end user experience view the client will see a message that the specific rate plan does not have availability and they could select via the Are you flexible calendar a different set of days.

If you select NS not show this means that the rate plan will be completely hidden from the front end user experience view.*

NS not show is a booking engine only restriction and does not exist in channel manager (if you are using one) .This practically means that if you need to open the rate , this needs to be done manually with OPEN from the booking engine extranet.

MINIMUM STAY

Applied to a Rate Plan this restriction enforces the requirement of a minimum stay for the defined number of nights. Minimum Length of Stay / Minimum Night Stay is effectively used over low dates to safe-guard occupancy levels.

MAXIMUM STAY

Applied to a Rate Plan this restriction limits the number of days that a guest may book on the rate plan. Maximum Stays are effectively used for special deals and promotions.

CLOSED TO ARRIVAL

CTA applied to a date for a rate plan, limits the booking of arrival/ check-in on that date. CTA is effectively used on days like Christmas & New Year, for those properties that close their check-ins on these holidays.

CLOSED TO DEPARTURE

CTD applied to a date for a rate plan, limits the booking of departure / check-out on that date. CTD is effectively used on event days, when properties want to refrain from allowing check-outs on these days.
